What We Do

The International Music Festival Conference provides programs that drive innovation, education, and provide a critical understanding of how music festivals play a crucial role in the music industry and foster growth in the arts. We do this though a number of vehicles including: educational workshops, access to industry thought leaders, high level conferences, webinars, focus groups, topic specific committees, and other unique initiatives allowing individuals and organizations access to resources that will enable them to provide the most meaningful and valuable festival experience to all constituents.

IMFCON op-edus are opinion articles that provide IMFCON readers with diverse opinions on timely music festival related issues. Most op-eds related to specific issues, but also provide a fresh opinion or suggested strategic or tactical course of action. While they are essentially opinion pieces, op-eds are balanced with factual information and unique valuable perspectives from executives spanning the music festival industry. Each op-ed will be distributed to the IMFCON’s community of over 15,000 music festival professionals via our blog, newsletter, and website.

If you are interested in submitted an op-ed piece please send the following to kerrie.yancey@imfcon.com:

  • Your Name, Job Title, and Company
  • Title of the Article
  • Abstract of the Article
  • Length of piece can range from 300-1000 words
